The show feeding in the national park region Habachtal is based on the national park administration’s successful principle to combine their efforts in natural space management, science and research as well as education with visitor information whereever possible. During cold and snowy winter months, red and roe deer don’t find enough food. Due to human intrusions into the natural cycle, the animals can no longer look for food in the lower regions. This expedition provides an opportunity to learn that not all feedings are the same and that the management of wild animals has many unsuspected aspects.
It’s an exciting experience to watch impressive stags and young fawns from up close!
