Workshop Centre Klausnerhaus “The taste of nature” The main focus at the Klausnerhaus will be on the topics forest and animal tracks. In the kitchen, the pupils will be able to cook with delicacies they found themselves in the forest and in the meadows or they can learn how to make butter, cream and cheese themselves. The new national park exhibition on the elder tree is also located at the Klausnerhaus. Children learn interesting facts about this mythical plant and the various ways its blossoms and berries can be used. In summer, the Klausnerhaus is open from 8am to 6pm every day. Right behind the Klausnerhaus, you’ll find the herbal gardens of Hollersbach, which contain a variety of medicinal plants, culinary herbs and poisonous plants. The herbal gardens are open daily, the entry is free. On request, guided visits of the herbal gardens can be arranged for groups.
