Group weeks in winter
We are the perfect destination for families,
The hotel is a great destination for winter and family skiing holidays. The hotel, situated on the sunny slope Rossberg, 3 km above the village of Neukirchen in the Hohe Tauern national park, is surrounded by a unique landscape and offers an unforgettable panorama view. In winter, there is a lot going on at the Venedigerhof and in its surroundings. Next to the hotel, you’ll find courts for snow hockey, snow volleyball and snow soccer. The huge floodlit ice rink invites you to go ice skating or curling. Discover the wonderful countryside around the hotel during a torchlight hike. The free ski shuttle, which stops right in front of the house, will quickly get you to the Wildkogel valley station, where a free heated ski storage room is at your disposal.
For your group holidays, we offer:
Wildkogel skiing area
The Wildkogel skiing area is situated in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps and offers great conditions for families, skiers and snowboarders. You’ll reach the skiing area at 2,100 m via the reliable 6-passenger cabin lift in Neukirchen. On 55 km of slopes of all difficulty levels, beginners and pros will feel at ease. Modern snow cannons guarantee reliable snow conditions until well into springtime. The world’s longest floodlit toboggan run is the undisputable highlight of the Wildkogel area. The tobogganists head downhill on a 14-km run that covers an incredible 1,300 m difference in altitude. Located just a few kilometers away, the skiing areas Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbühel Alps are awaiting you.
After a day of skiing, cross-country skiing or tobogganing, you can explore the Venedigerhof’s great indoor area: cinema, seminar room, disco, fitness room, huge activity room, billiards, small but cosy sauna area and an airgun shooting range.
Winter programme in the national park
Discover the snow-covered valleys of the Hohe Tauern in snow boots or observe deer and other animals during a feeding show. The national park also offers a lot of activities for non-skiers.
